Always continue to strive for excellence baby!

As I was singing in the shower after a really challenging workout moments ago, I realized that there will never be a time where I can say, "Yes! I have my dream body now. I can stop exercising! I can eat cookies and ice cream all day long!" No! Having a strong healthy vibrant body is a constant effort that you have to work towards every day.It is about self love and being the best you because no one is youer than you. :)

Before I found Beachbody, their amazing community and fitness programs, I would always ask myself, "Okay, if I work really hard how long will it be until I will have my dream body?" -- Don't you see? I was focusing on the destination not the journey. The journey is what truly matters and plus, it is the best part. We must learn to enjoy all the ups and downs life provides us with because with each high and low there is something amazing to learn.

Of course there will be a time very soon, when I will feel like I do have my dream body. There will come a time when I am completely comfortable and confident in my own skin. But once you accomplish one goal, you must form new and bigger ones. Everyday, you always must challenge yourself so you can be stronger than you were yesterday. That is how we grow. That is how and why successful people are successful.

Let me ask you this:
What if you stopped working out and eating healthy? Well, soon enough, you would be where you started... Having to lose 20-50 lbs, gaining more muscle, working on your cardio endurance and so much more.

What if you just became fluent in a second language and just stopped speaking in that language for a month? You might be still somewhat of a good speaker in that language but you would have forgotten a few things. And would have to start from ground zero is certain areas

It is always a constant effort. You have to do it every day so you can learn, grown and become stronger.

 Don't be down on yourself if you can't do it perfectly right away. Take baby steps. Accept where you are right now.You're doing great. Keep going.

Remember, after you accomplish a huge dream of yours continue to dream bigger. Most if not all companies would not be where they are today if they believed that after one huge accomplishment that was all they would ever achieve. No successful person or company has ever thrown their hands up in the air and said, "Well, that's it. We might as well throw in the towel because this is the best we will ever be able to do." NO! We all must challenge our selves and our imaginations to dig deeper so we can do as much as we possibly can and be the best we can be.

The universe has HUGE plans for you. Plans that you probably can't even conceive right now. Just start crossing off one goal and dream after another and you'll get there.

Silence and still your mind and you'll know what to do.

You're a rock star and don't you forget it!

Peace out and dream BIG!

Make time to love and improve yourself every day! Be the best you that you can be!

Exercise is so crucially important to living a happy healthy successful life. Exercising teaches me so much and strengthens not only my body but also my mind every time I do it. Having a strong mentality is everything.  If you have a strong mentality, you can conquer anything! <3 br="br">

Last week, I didn't exercise as much as I usually do. :/ wa wa waaaa I know, right?  I noticed that my body started to really slow down, I didn't feel as happy and energetic as I usually do and I actually started to go into a depressed state of mind. JUST because I didn't exercise for a few days! Crazy! So make sure to exercise for at least 30minutes every day. Even if it's just going on a walk. :)

If you don't exercise, you are only depriving yourself.
Exercising...
  • balances your body
  •  refreshes you
  • sets the tone for the day
  •  increases confidence
  •  helps you solve difficult challenges
  •  is a getaway
  •  is a time for you and only you, it is an act of self love and dedication to being the best you that you can be! :)  and so much more!
So if you don't workout on a daily basis, you are only hurting yourself!

Always make time to improve yourself every day! <3 br="br" xoxox="xoxox"> Love, Tianah <3 br="br"> P.S. Always drink LOTS of water. How much water you ask? You want to drink half your body weight in ounces. :) This is a great website to get filtered water! http://www.waterbobble.com/

Being organized and prepared is HEALTHY not nerdy... Here is my story thoughts and some tips to help you get started!

For the last several weeks I have been doing A LOT of cleaning and organizing.
4-5 months ago, I left college and moved in with my mom temporarily until I  am able to make it on my own and move into my own apartment.  I have officially made my goal that my boyfriend and I will move in together! :D I am so excited!
 In 4-7 months I WILL be living on my own. I WILL create the life I dream of everyday.
In the process of this journey I decided #1 I had to get REALLY SERIOUS. And that includes having a clean, organized and tidy space for myself! Successful people are clean and organized. They are in CONTROL. They know the ins and outs of everything!

With all the extra STUFF I had from college my space was clean but still cluttered and somewhat unorganized. So I decided to get down to business.
Successful people do what the average person is unwilling to do!
And you know what I realized? I realized that when my space wasn't as clean, organized and open as I wanted it to be, while I would get ready for my day, I would become very hot, angry, irritable and really pessimistic about life and would become a really not so fun person to be around. I felt like a victim, nothing was going my way, I felt like a loser, I felt out of control, I felt like I was falling deeper and deeper into failure... I know it sounds silly, but it's true! And I'm sure lots of other people feel the same way but maybe they don't understand why they feel that way and blame it on other outside forces.

But then, when I took control, by cleaning, organizing and throwing away things I never used or didn't need thus creating more space, I felt so much happier, relaxed, open, loving, giving, organized, efficient  successful... and so much more!  It was such a therapeutic experience! Being organized isn't nerdy, it's HEALTHY! It's good for your well being and mental mind set. You sleep better at night and you become less stressed!
You CAN make your life go from this...
to this :)
How does the first picture make you feel compared to the second? ... Interesting isn't it? :)

Cleaning and being as organized as we can be is something we all should strive for each and every day because #1 it helps us be and become a better person and #2 it helps create more success in your life!

If you are messy ... If you have this huge load you are carrying EVERY DAY and have things falling all over the place and have so much to do... If you find that events and circumstances keep happening, that you either forgot about or that were totally unexpected and off your radar, then how can you attract new and better experiences into your life when you are too busy picking up the pieces of YOUR mess?

YOU have to take CONTROL of YOUR life! No one else can do this for you. You HAVE to drop it, you have to just let it go and just start going through piece through piece... bit by bit. Decide whether keep, sell, give away or throw away. It is a process but I KNOW you can do it!

Take control of your LIFE! Start cleaning up your life now!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
* Get rid of cluttered counters!
only lay out what you use EVERY DAY. everything else can go in a nice cupboard or storage unit and maybe some of it you can throw away!
* Have clean organized drawers! -- This is a neat website that can give you some ideas and help you!
* Get rid of extra products
-- do you have tons of shampoos and conditioners or different brands? Are they half empty? Have they been sitting around for months? Throw them away! I say simple is better! You don't need tons of beauty products. You just need 1-3 that keep you happy and healthy.
I use castile soap for:
body wash
shampoo
face wash
hand wash
cleaning my make-up brushes
I use Beauty4Ashes products
Scar and Elasticity Repair Stretch mark Oil
Cranberry Vanilla Whipped Body Butter
GodHead Superfood Multivitamin Conditioner
I use a natural form of toothpaste from Whole FoodsProduct Image
Natural Gate Toothpaste Peppermint
And 3x a day I use teatree oil and salt as a scrub on my face.
THAT:S IT!
Send me a message on something you need help with and I'll write about it!
How much can REALLY change in ONE year?
 It's so amazing how much can change in a year... I don't feel like we look back and reflect enough. We don't give ourselves credit for all the hard work we have accomplished. One year ago from yesterday (Thanksgiving) I was in denial about a lot of things going on in my life... I ignored how unhappy I was, that I was in a horrible toxic unhealthy relationship tha
t would NEVER work, and that I was in the WRONG place trying to fulfill something that wasn't mine to fulfill... Simply, I was not on MY path. I was on someone else's, climbing someone ELSE'Smountain.
 A year ago from now, I was at my Dad's friends' home, Yvonne and Steve's. They are like an aunt and uncle to me. Even though they are good people and I enjoy my time with them, I was very sad because I wasn't with my boyfriend at the time who claimed he loved me. His father had a problem with me, but really, it was a reflection of who is and what personal problems he has. I was sad about a lot of things (including the fact that my boyfriend who said he loved me, would not stand up for me and allowed instances and people get in the way of our "relationship" ) and clearly I was not being treated the way I should have been.
 Ironically, my boyfriend at the time, lived just a block away from where I was. This is HUGE irony, because Steve and Yvonne weren't local, they live in the city as did my boyfriend that I was with at the time... I remember Yvonne telling me that I'm young, I shouldn't be tied down in a relationship. I remember her telling me how pretty I am and how much I have to offer to the world. And she was right...
A year from that day, you know how I spent my thanksgiving? I spent it with a someone who really loves and cares about me. Even his family cares about me, enjoyed seeing me and can't wait to see me again. I have found my place, my path, and a person that truly understands me, sees me for me, whole heartily loves me, holds me and comforts me when I am in pain and I do the same for him. He and I are rock solid. We are building goals and dreams together. In an entire year, I managed to go down a path that wasn't for me( those paths are usually very long and painful, which it was) and I managed to leave everything behind and start anew. :)
 I do what I do, to help people. I want people to be able to take control of their life like I did with mine. I want people to
 not be afraid to stand alone and be independent from everything else, even from society.  I want to help people discover their TRUE dreams. I want to help people be able to heal from traumatic pasts and still come out the other side still shinny and new. I help people. It's not about shaleology or Beachbody challenge groups... It's about the journey. I want to help people discover why they were born; what they are meant to do in this lifetime. We are all rock stars and we are all meant to shine.
In one year...
  • I ended a toxic unhealthy relationship of 2 two years
  • I left college
  • I discovered and I continue discover what I am meant to do in this life
  • I got my health back
  • I healed my heart and my mind from the past
  • I have become a vegan
  • I have lost 12 pounds of fat + gained muscle mass
My 12 TIPS of how to keep off the weight over the holidays!
Eat like this.... so you will feel like this....
It's getting to be that time of year again! Do you usually get mixed feelings about the holidays? I sure do!  You love  seeing your family and friends but you don't love the feeling of being bloated...? Do you sometimes feel guilty eating food during the holidays? Afraid you over-ate and gained weight?
Did you know the average person gains 7-12lbs over the holidays?!
Well, this year, you are going to be smart! You are NOT going to gain weight. No... not you. You are so much better than that. You deserve better! Here are 12 tips to help you stay healthy and happy over the holidays! :)
#1 Have a healthy breakfast! -Breakfast is the most important meal of the day! Have lots of fiber.
-- Oatmeal, protein shake, smoothie, fruit, cereal with lots of fiber (stay away from additives, artificial flavors) and use almond or soy milk instead! Or if you REALLY want to be good. Make your favorite ol' Shakeology :)
#2 Eat every 2-3hrs in SMALL portortions
#3 Drink a glass of water 30 minutes BEFORE every meal
#4 Eat LOTS of whole grains, vegetables, proteins and foods in their most natural form
#5 Stay away from processed foods
#6 Bring healthy snacks and meals wherever you go-- even if you go out to eat with friends. You can eat what you made yourself at home! No one will care! -- Or...Invite your friends to your place to cook them a nice healthy meal! -- If you do order at a restaurant, BE SMART! Have a well balanced meal (vegetables, whole grains and protein). Ask it without the added cheese and butter. Ask HOW and WHAT they cook the meal with. Eat half and take the other half home. And Try not to eat the appetizer and try to stay away from the dessert menu...
#7 Don't go to dinners and parties hungry!
#8 Always have water handy! Drink AT LEAST 8 glasses of water.
#9 Stop eating 2 hours before your bed time. You shouldn't eat after 6-8pm.
#10 Wear tight snug fitting clothes when you go to parties and dinners, so you won't eat so much.
#11  Ask to have a meal made specially for you or cook your own food and take it to your friend's/ family's home-- bring enough for everyone else!
#12 Take a break from eating when you feel 80% full and after 15 minutes, see how you feel.
Feeling down? - Exercise! +my exercising (weightloss) TIPS!
Yesterday, I fully learned the importance of exercising even when you feel sad or any negative emotion-- EVEN when you feel sick and think that it isn't good for you, it IS good for you!  This past month of October has been completely NUTS! Everything has been happening all at once for me. I found my soul-mate, I have met a lot of great people, I joined a great organization that is like another family to me... I have been happy, I have been sad, I have felt well rested, I have felt stressed, I have felt whole, I have felt broken, I have felt alive, I have felt dead inside, I felt successful, I have felt like a failure... And what I have learned through this roller coaster is that exercise is the ONE constant for me. Exercising ALWAYS makes me feel better. Exercising helps even me out.
Exercising makes me feel:
  • happy
  • well- balanced
  • positive
  • strong, powerful, sexy, confident
  • productive
  • accomplished
Exercising helps me:
  • maintain positive mind set
  • work out problems I am experiencing in my life and helps me SOLVE them
  • let go of stress
  • eat healthier and eat in smaller proportions
  • drink more water
  • challenge myself in a positive way
  • attract what I want and need into my life
  • be a better person for myself and others
TIPS:
  • Exercise first thing in the morning, it sets the mood of the rest of your day! This is one way to have a good day EVERY DAY! :)
  • NEVER skip your workout -- you're only hurting yourself and others
  • Drink LOTS of water
  • Eat every 2-3 hours a day (increases metabolism) in SMALL proportions (drink a glass of water first and eat until you feel 80% full and wait 10 minutes and see how you feel) ;)
  • if you aren't feeling well and feel like you're coming down with something, still do something! Go on a walk. :)
  • Drink Shakeology every day -- also helps prevents disease
  • Eat LOTS of veggies
  • Eat Organic
  • Consume less animal products
Now, go exercise and create an amazing life for yourself! :D <3 xoxoxo
How to be at peace when in the midst of choas
One of the rules for personal observation, is called, “Santosa”, which means modesty; contentment with what we have or in other words, to be at peace with oneself.  In order to be at peace, one has to accept oneself, flaws and all. However, true peace, is when one can be calm and still in the midst of a heavy hardship or challenge in one’s life -- even when they are surrounded by others who are suffering and/or others who are running and screaming, “Chaos! Chaos Chaos!” all over the place (at least, it can sometimes feel that way at times) – and still come out on the other side and say, “It’ll turn out just fine.” With a smile on their  face . Peace comes from within. We cannot be given peace, only WE can find and create that solitude and comfort within ourselves.
In relation to Santosa, here is a story that might give you, the reader, a better grasp on the idea: There once was a man whose son was in the army. This man one day got a very terrible feeling and did not want his son to get killed. Instead of the father focusing on what he didn’t want (his son getting killed), he focused on his son’s future, health, and well-being and this made him feel good. Then, one day his son fell off his horse and broke his leg. People began to say to the father, “Oh no! You’re son fell off his horse and broke his leg!” “You’re son broke his leg! This is so terrible!” “You’re son’s leg is broken! Oh, how devastating and sad that is!”. The father would always reply, “You know, I think it’s a good thing. I don’t think it’s a bad thing. I don’t know why, but I think this is a very good thing.”. The next day, all the soldiers were called to war and the son did not get called because his leg was broken. Even though the event of the son falling off his horse and breaking his leg, seemed to be a bad negative event in the moment,  it turned out to be a rather good thing in the long run and probably saved his life. In this story, the father remained calm and at peace, even when everyone around him seemed to be scared and in chaos about his son’s leg getting broken. This is an example of Santosa being at peace with oneself and life no matter the circumstances.
Santosa both is an attitude that we choose to have and or create within ourselves and it effects our actions. If the father in the story was not in Santosa, then he probably would have reacted like everyone else, scared and chaotic. Santosa ( the knowing that everything will be okay and that everything is a process), effects the mind and therefore our actions.
